Royal Enfield’s Upcoming Himalayan 750 Adventure Tourer Spotted During Testing
Excitement is building as a new flagship adventure motorcycle from Royal Enfield has been seen testing in Southern Europe, revealing glimpses of its design and features.
Key Highlights:
- Rear suspension includes a mono-shock system.
- Front setup features dual disc brakes.
Details About the Himalayan 750
The latest spy images showcase a test bike equipped with advanced sensors, hinting at ongoing performance evaluations and endurance testing. This motorcycle is expected to feature a new engine that will make it the most powerful and largest model in Royal Enfield’s lineup. While the final specifications remain under wraps, the test unit suggests a design close to production-ready, with several features expected to be included in the final version.
This new Royal Enfield Himalayan is likely built on an all-new platform, distinct from the current 650cc lineup, which includes models like the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. It will house a more powerful engine, anticipated to exceed the output of the 648cc twin-cylinder motor, which currently delivers 47 hp and 52 Nm. This new engine might also appear in updated versions of the Interceptor and Continental GT, both of which have been spotted in testing.
Expected Features and Updates
Key upgrades include a fully adjustable inverted fork for the front suspension and a mono-shock for the rear. The design incorporates a semi-fairing, setting the larger Himalayan apart from its single-cylinder sibling. The new bike is also expected to feature a rectangular TFT display as opposed to the current circular unit and will come with all-LED lighting, including redesigned headlight and taillight units.
The braking system has seen an overhaul, with twin front discs and Bybre-branded callipers. The test model was equipped with a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheel. It remains to be confirmed whether tubeless wheels will be offered as standard.

Launch Timeline
The Himalayan 750 is not expected to debut immediately, with a possible launch in late 2025. Royal Enfield’s current adventure lineup includes the Himalayan 450, priced at ₹2.98 lakh (ex-showroom).
